The most important thing before any trip is to make sure you bring what you need for the environment you will be camping in. We’ve put together a suggested packing list to help you tune into that ocean camp vibe.

A friendly piece of advice

  • It's important to test your equipment before heading out. Pitch your tent close to your home. Light up your camp stove and get to know your new sleeping bag.

  • Scout the area you will be camping and look for places to get drinking water. Is there a river nearby? Another option is to bring extra water bottles and fill up on the road.

  • Use your hand sanitizer when burning your toilet paper. That way you leave no trace behind.

  • During warm summer days it might be easy to forget to bring warmer clothes for the chill evenings. Remember that when the sun sets the temperature drops and some warmer clothes will probably make you more comfortable.

  • If the weather is warm and breezy during the day, make sure to air out your sleeping bag and clothes. 100% wool only needs to be aired before you use them again.
