About our sleeping bags

Buying guidesTips and tricksTechnical information

We developed our first sleeping bags as early as 1954. Since then, we’ve raised the bar for development of outdoor equipment, so you can get the best night’s sleep. On these pages we have gathered everything you need to know, from the most practical to super duper - some might call it nerdy - technical information.

Our sleeping bags are categorized by different categories; Trek, Pro, Superlight and X-Trem to make your choice of equipment easier.

The purchase guides will take you through the sleeping bag jungle, giving you advice on what to consider when buying a new sleeping bag. It should meet your needs, exceed your expectations and keep you warm, regardless of whether you are on a summer hike in the woods or a winter expedition in the mountains.

In the technical information-section you will find all the nitty, gritty details, the fine print. If it gets too advanced, don’t worry! You will find the most important information in the purchase guides anyway, but if you think AIRTEX® 100% 40D Polyamide Dobby Ripstop sounds exciting, this is the place for you!

The articles and blogs are there to inspire you to get out. Try something new! Bring a friend! Cook! Discover new places! Few people explore all the opportunities that exist in nature, we want to inspire you to challenge yourself and create long-lasting memories. In this section, you will also find tips on how to take care of your sleeping bag, and how you can ensure it will keep you warm and comfy for years to come.

Occasionally, things don’t go as planned. A tear in the sleeping bag, a broken zipper. Helsport's service department will fix all the repairs for you, but you may want to look through these simple DIY-videos, so you know what to do if something happens while you’re out in the wilderness.

Sleep well!
